PARTICIPATION RULES - October 2, 3 and 4, 2026

We are pleased to inform you about the details and rules for the tattoo contest that will take place during the convention. Below, you will find all the information necessary to participate:

REGISTRATION

  • Where: Information stand
  • When: Every day of the convention, from 16:00h to 17:00h
  • Important: Registrations outside these hours will not be accepted.

Category BODY SUIT and Healed Tattoo

  • Registration: Only on Saturday and Sunday from 13:00 h to 14:00 h at the Information stand.
  • Contest: Saturday and Sunday at 16:00 h on the main stage.
  • Who can participate: Tattoo artists accredited at the convention.
  • Limit: Body Suit three tattoos per participant, and Healed Tattoo only one tattoo per participant.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

All categories are reserved for tattoo artists accredited at the convention.

GENERAL RULES

  • In the Free Hand category, the process must be documented by video.
  • In the Healed Tattoo category, only one tattoo may be entered. It must have a minimum healing time of 6 months.
  • All tattoos must be done during the convention, except in the Body Suit and Healed Tattoo categories.
  • In order to optimize execution time during the contest, participants will be allowed to arrive with the stencil already placed on the client’s skin, as well as with the water lines already done, if they wish. No other progress on the tattoo will be allowed.
  • For the Best Work of the Day category, the tattoo must be done that same day.
  • For Best Work of the Convention, large tattoos done over 2 or 3 days are recommended.
  • Small tattoos must not exceed 15 cm. If they exceed this size, they will be disqualified.
  • In the Color category, at least one color other than black, white or grey must be included.
  • In the Black & Grey category, only works in black, sumi, diluted inks, and white pigment in SPECIFIC areas, such as highlights and shine, will be accepted. Large areas of white will NOT be allowed.

PRIZES

All categories will have first, second and third prizes, both for the tattoo artist and their client.

HEALTH REGULATIONS

  • It is not permitted for two tattoo artists to work on the same piece within the same booth.
  • In the case of collaborations, the client must move from one booth to another.
  • Please comply with the current health and hygiene regulations in Barcelona.
