The festival in its different areas will hold workshops and seminars aimed at all audiences.
Below, you will find all the information and how to register for each of them.
TATTOO TEST
To celebrate the XXVII edition of the Barcelona Tattoo Expo, the European School of Tattoo and Piercing brings us one more year its Tattoo Test, a space for people who want to try a tattoo machine and have never had the opportunity.
The teachers of the school will be in charge of guiding these special “students”. They will be able to tattoo an artificial skin and become the winner of the Best of Day as well as obtain interesting material prizes.
CHILDREN'S GRAFFITI WORKSHOP
The intention of this children’s Graffiti workshop is to transmit the love for art in a very close and different way.
Group work will be vital in these days, where they will learn the different graphic possibilities that can be captured on a wall.
As one of the objectives of this workshop is also responsibility and ethics as well as respect for our streets and cities, cardboard boxes will be used as a mural or wall and the sprays used will be water-based, without any toxicity for the children.
We want these little ones to have fun, that is the main objective, investigating, testing and letting their imagination and creativity fly.
Cyanotype Workshop
Learn this ancient solar development technique and create your own photographic or illustration compositions.
Cyanotype is a chemical process that reacts under sunlight/UV light, characterized by its blue color. We can use photo negatives, flowers, plants, objects, etc.

Japanese writing workshop
Do you want to learn the amazing Sumi-e technique? It doesn’t matter if you have no drawing or painting experience, just let yourself go. Hasu Art will teach you how to paint various traditional elements like bamboo, a katana, or a cherry blossom tree. Take your finished artwork home and enjoy the experience. Come reserve your spot at the Hasu Art stand or beforehand via their email: art@hasuart.com.

BEST HEALED TATTOO
“Visit the @oshun.space stand and you’ll have a chance to win the prize. Here’s how:
- Submit your entry at the Oshun stand.
- How? If you have a client with a tattoo that’s at least two months old, come by so we can take some photos.
- You will be asked for your contact information so we can reach you in case you’re pre-selected.
- If you sign up, make sure that if you are pre-selected, both you and the person with the tattoo can be on stage for the final evaluation on Sunday, October 6th, at 5:50 p.m.
- The convention’s jury will name three winning pieces from the selection made by Oshun. If you can’t be on stage, your entry will be disqualified, sorry.
- And don’t worry, if your tattoo is pre-selected as a finalist, you’ll receive a message a few hours before the award!”
