Countdown to BAUM Fest 2025: Over 200 Artists and a Record-Breaking Edition

Over 80% of booths booked before summer

More than 200 confirmed artists, 25 nationalities represented, and new urban experiences for all audiences.

Barcelona, August 1, 2025 –

The countdown to BAUM Fest – Barcelona Tattoo Expo 2025 is on. With two months to go, the festival has already reached over 80% of confirmed tattoo artists, with more than 200 professionals from 25 countries who will be tattooing live on October 3, 4 and 5 at Fira de Barcelona (Plaça Espanya).

After the Tattoo Tour 2024 passed through Gijón, Tarragona and Granada, Barcelona is ready to host the grand finale of this national tour with an edition that will bring thousands of attendees under one roof: tattooing, urban art, street culture, extreme sports, motors, and unique experiences.

2025 Highlights

INFLUYE – What Can't Be Erased

A brand-new area in collaboration with Sefo, freestyle artist and icon of the urban rap scene. A space featuring Open Mic, exhibition battles, poetry, beatbox, live shows, and a special DJ set from Eterno Sound (Rapsusklei) to close out the Sunday session.

Barber Contest

Barber culture has always had its place at BAUM Fest — and this year, it grows.

We’re taking it up a notch with the first-ever Barber Contest, sharing space with the best in urban art, tattooing, and contemporary creativity.

  • Professional and amateur categories
  • Live demos
  • Awards for the best styles on the scene

Muay Thai Zone

Traditional Thai fighting culture comes to BAUM with 4-fighter tournaments per weight class, traditional rituals, live music, and a tribute to the spiritual roots of Thai tattooing.

Art Kids

A creative area for the little ones featuring urban-themed structures to color, graffiti workshops, temporary tattoos, and activities to discover art from early childhood.

Finger Skate & BMX Flatland

Extreme sports are on the rise at the festival, with a dedicated fingerboard zone, an international Flatland BMX competition, and top riders defying gravity on two wheels.

This year, we introduce a space for local artisans and creators, where they will display their work, sell unique pieces, and share their creative process with visitors. A unique chance to connect with local talent, watch artworks come to life… and even take part in them!

We’re also launching a brand-new live painting area with leading artists from the contemporary art scene. Watch them create in real time and explore their completed pieces — a fresh, immersive way to experience artistic expression.

Barcelona Tattoo Expo – Tattoo Contest Returns

The legendary tattoo contest returns for all three days with over 10 official categories, daily prizes, and the coveted Best of Show award.

Artists will tattoo live at their booths, following the highest standards of hygiene and quality.

Registrations are still open and will be managed in person during the event.

A Festival for Everyone

BAUM Fest is more than tattoos — it’s visual culture, emerging art, live illustration, street markets, shows, custom motorcycles, food trucks, podcast zone, and over 15 themed areas for all audiences.

In its last edition, the festival welcomed over 20,000 attendees, and this year’s edition is shaping up to be the most complete ever.

Monster Energy will return as the official sponsor, and the festival will continue its inclusive, accessible, and boundary-pushing approach.
