BAUM Fest has established itself as an unmissable event for lovers of art, urban culture, and lifestyle. Its essence goes beyond tattooing: it is a meeting point where creativity, tradition, innovation, and immersive experiences come together.
On October 3, 4, and 5, the Fira de Barcelona, Plaza España, will once again become the epicenter of tattooing, urban art, and alternative culture with a new edition of BAUM Fest – Barcelona Tattoo Expo. This year, the festival reinvents itself with a more educational and professional approach, offering the public the chance to enjoy more than 1,000 works of art across diverse mediums such as skin, canvas, leather, metal, and clothing.
Human skin will once again be the festival’s most vibrant medium. More than 250 national and international tattoo artists will work live on it, creating unique pieces that transcend time. Each tattoo is an unrepeatable work of art that breathes, walks, and becomes living memory. A fusion of tradition and modernity that consolidates Barcelona as the international capital of tattooing.
One of the main new features is the Tattoo Test, a space created together with the European School of Tattoo and Piercing (EETP), where students and future professionals can learn about line techniques, shading, material use, and practice on synthetic skin. The experience is further enriched with exclusive lectures, live podcasts, and networking sessions with artists and brands from the industry.
“BAUM Fest 2025 will be the most complete and educational edition to date. It’s not just about seeing art, but about living it, learning, and being part of a unique experience,” says Mik Garreta, the festival director.
