Traditional Muay Thai and Sak Yant Tattoo at BAUM Fest 2025
On Saturday, October 4, BAUM Fest 2025 will host for the first time a unique evening of traditional Muay Thai combined with the ancient Sak Yant tattoo. An experience that merges combat, spirituality, and Thai culture in an artistic and alternative setting.
Weight Class Tournaments
In the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, tournaments will take place featuring 4 fighters per category: –60 kg, –65 kg, and –70 kg. The fights will follow the traditional format of 3 rounds of 3 minutes each, using shin guards and elbow pads to ensure safety.
The tournaments are organized in collaboration with Internacional Gym and their Local Heroes project, which promotes Muay Thai in Catalonia and gives visibility to emerging talent.
Sak Yant Ceremonial Route
Before the competition, the fighters will take part in a ritual route dressed in traditional fighting attire, from the weigh-in area to the festival’s traditional tattoo zone, where they will pay homage to Maître SUKANYA อาจารย์สุกัญญา.
This symbolic act connects the art of combat with the spiritual strength of Sak Yant ink.
Ring Access and Tickets
The ring will have 350 seats available. Tickets can be purchased in the following ways:
• 🎟 €25: directly through the gyms and fighters (discounted price)
• 🎟 €30: in advance through official channels (includes access to BAUM Fest + seat at the ring)
There will also be a designated area for standing spectators, behind the perimeter fence.
