We are pleased to present a new edition of one of the most traditional events in the world of tattooing worldwide.
The tattoo convention of Barcelona brings together more than 250 artists of different trends in the world of tattooing, each artist will be tattooing live in a conditioned box, with the maximum hygienic measures and a space to serve the public

The convention is the perfect meeting point between lovers of leather art and artists of different styles, it is the opportunity to tattoo a piece with an artist from anywhere in the world, with traditional techniques or specialized in a tattoo style such as realism, traditional or Japanese among others.
You can attend to find inspiration, ideas or the latest trends, enjoy live art and if you feel like it, also get tattooed!

25 years of history of the tattoo world in Spain.
Barcelona Tatto Expo is undoubtedly a European benchmark as far as the urban art sector is concerned. 25 years of history and 23 editions fighting for tattoo culture, fighting to normalize art on the skin and professionalize the sector.
Miquel Garreta, director of Urban Line Concept Events together with his team celebrate this unusual edition by reinventing themselves once again and keeping alive the flame of the convention so that as soon as possible we can gather again around urban art.

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN TATTOO CONTESTS
Three tattoo contests will be held on Friday and Saturday, two of defined categories and the Best Work of the Day, which will be of free theme. On Sunday, there will be a competition with a defined category, the Best Work of the Day and the Best Work of the Convention (in which only the first classified of the previous categories will participate). If a contestant cannot be present on Sunday for the Best Work of the Convention, a video/photo submitted by the tattooist will be accepted.
The registration hours for the tattoo contest will be from 18h to 19h the three days. Any tattoo registered outside these hours will not be eligible for the contest.
The jury will be the same for the three days of the event, so the same criteria will be followed for all categories.
There will be a pre-selection for each category, therefore there is no limit to the number of entries.
If there are less than 6 entries in a category, that category will be eliminated and the entries in that category will become part of the Best Work of the Day entries.
All contests will have first, second and third prizes (for both the tattooist and the tattooed), except for the “Best Work of the Convention” which will only have a first prize. The tattoo artists awarded with the first prize, will automatically pass the selection to participate in the 26th edition of the International Tattoo Convention of Barcelona “Barcelona Tattoo Expo 2023”.
